The Site~Rite Prevue* Ultrasound System is a low cost, portable ultrasound device that is designed to assist in the placement of a peripheral vascular access device (VAD).

The use of ultrasound imaging for vascular access increases the placement success rate over traditional blind sticks for peripheral IV catheters.

There are many advantages to using the Site~Rite Prevue* Ultrasound System for patients with limited venous access:

  • Provides assessment of vasculature prior to
    attempted accessing
  • Provides real time guidance
  • Provides depth and size of vessel information
  • Provides ability to visualize the vasculature which can assist in the identification of bifurcations, valves and tortuous curves prior to access.

Site~Rite Prevue* Ultrasound System displays real-time images of the approximate location, size and depth of targeted peripheral vessels to help increase peripheral first-stick success rates over placement without ultrasound imaging.

Basic Mode which provides a clinician with an ultrasound image with depth and center mark indications.

Advanced Mode on the Site~Rite Prevue* Ultrasound System displays the approximate length of the catheter that will be in the peripheral vessel upon final placement.
