The Safety Excalibur* Peel-Apart Introducer combines clinician safety with
performance. Its unique protection system consists of a self-blunting
needle that requires no new placement techniques. Simply insert the
needle, place the catheter and remove the introducer. The needle
automatically blunts as it is removed, reducing the risk of accidental
needle sticks.
